02 Our Story
Local investment capability. International access. Aligned capital.
Sixteen years of building access to frontier markets.
ACP Asset Management was founded in 2010 to invest across listed equities, private equity and fixed income, with a particular focus on Sri Lanka and frontier Asia.
From the outset, the firm combined on-the-ground investment research with an aligned capital model. Over the following sixteen years, ACP built the regulated structures required to connect that local capability with international capital — first through Singapore, followed by Australia and Switzerland, and most recently through a European regulated UCITS structure.
2010
Founded
ACP Asset Management is established with a focus on frontier and emerging Asia. Licensed investment management operations in Sri Lanka begin through Arpico Ataraxia, regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka, establishing the firm's on-the-ground investment capability. Offices in Colombo and Sydney.
2015
First Fund, Singapore
ACP launches its first fund in Singapore, establishing a regional investment structure for international and Asian investors alongside the firm's Sri Lankan investment platform.
2018–2019
ACP Corum
ACP partners with Corum AG, Zurich, and together they acquire Tristar Asset Management in Australia. The business is subsequently rebranded ACP Corum, creating an AFSL licensed investment management platform connecting European and Australian capital with ACP investment strategies.
Dec 2021
Sri Lanka AMC
ACP launches the Sri Lanka Actively Managed Certificate (ISIN CH0574683717), providing offshore investors with regulated, daily liquidity access to Sri Lankan public markets.
2022–2025
Navigating the Cycle
The Sri Lanka AMC is managed through Sri Lanka's economic crisis and subsequent recovery. Published USD returns include +38.50% in 2023 and +48.55% in 2024. The strategy recorded a further positive year in 2025, with a cumulative return of approximately +77.6% since inception, ahead of the MSCI Frontier Markets Index.
2024
Ambeon Capital
ACP, as part of a consortium, makes a long-term strategic investment in Ambeon Capital PLC. ACP's principal investment activity continues across financial services, technology, resources and clean energy, healthcare, real estate, FMCG and leisure.
Feb–Mar 2026
Sri Lanka Opportunity Fund
ACP and ACP Corum launch the Sri Lanka Opportunity Fund (ISIN LI1460187415), the first European regulated UCITS dedicated exclusively to Sri Lankan assets. Regulated by the Liechtenstein FMA, the fund provides daily dealing and access to Sri Lankan listed equities and fixed income, with a minimum investment of USD 10,000.
03 Principles
The values ACP believes should sit behind capital.
Across its ESG and people policies, ACP places emphasis on integrity, fairness, transparency, responsibility and the long term development of stakeholders.
Integrity
Promote honesty, fairness and respect through the firm's business practices and investment relationships.
Transparency
Provide stakeholders with clear information and maintain disciplined governance around investment and operational risks.
Responsibility
Consider the effect of investment and business decisions on employees, communities, portfolio companies and the environment.
Long Term Development
Build people, businesses and relationships with an emphasis on sustainable value creation rather than short term activity alone.
People · Culture · Long Term Relationships
Capital is institutional. Relationships remain human.
ACP's investment platform is ultimately built by people: teams, partners, portfolio companies, investors and relationships developed over time.
